Purple Bud
Pinglin, Taiwan /Organic/2024
White tea undergoes the simplest processing, making the quality of the fresh leaves especially critical. It also relies heavily on the tea maker’s years of experience in judging and handling the leaves.
The “purple bud” comes from a wild mountain tea varietal; only those growing in natural environments—with ample sunlight, loose soil, and good ecological conditions—can develop into flourishing purple shoots.
Rich in anthocyanins, epigallocatechin lipids, and flavonoids, this tea offers trace elements known for their calming and soothing effects.
