Fuding, Fujian in China is the home of white tea. Wistaria is a custom limited edition cake from the esteemed ecologically maintained tea farm of the Chen family estate. Its leaves are withered by sunlight under controlled conditions, then naturally dried over a long period of time. Ecologically maintained tea estates can only yield a very small amount of tea each year, but the quality is far superior to that of commercially farmed tea. White tea has a calming, cooling effect, aids lung function, and is well known among Chinese tea drinkers for developing medicinal qualities with time. This particular tea is sweet, has pleasant vegetal notes, and serves as a great introduction to the world of white teas. Aged a few years, it will start to develop floral and fruit tones.
