Pinglin, located in the mountains of northern Taiwan, is home to the famous Wenshan region Baozhong. Wenshan tea farmers use traditional methods that are hundreds of years old, passed down from their Fujianese ancestors in China. On weekends, the laojie (old street) pulses with life, ebbing and flowing with people searching for, tasting, and chatting about tea in the local vendors, as they have done for hundreds of years. Vibrant custom persists here. Orchid Whisper comes from the home of tea farmers of five generations. The slender, elegant leaves carry a notable typical orchid aroma, making it a perfect introduction to Baozhongs.
