Produced in the 1950s, this vintage puerh hails from Yunnan’s Lancang River Valley, the primeval home to some of the world’s most ancient tea trees. Carefully kept in dry storage for over half a century, Lancang Camphor once enjoyed a formidable reputation at Wistaria before being taken off the menu due to very limited supply. This year, Wistaria is reintroducing this vintage favorite to old friends and new friends alike.
To enjoy this rare offering, we recommend steeping it in a small teapot and drinking the expansive liquor in small- to medium-sized cups. After three to five cups, you will feel comfortably warm and relaxed while sweating out your body’s impurities. A perfect companion on a cool autumnal day, full of warmth and consolation.
